Joining the Pilot Program

The SAP Engagement Cloud SDK is currently available in a pilot release for a select group of clients. To participate, contact your client success manager. Implementation should only begin after receiving confirmation of your pilot status from SAP.

Steps marked with SAP are performed by SAP on your behalf.
The steps depend on whether you are integrating into a new application or an existing one that already uses the SAP Emarsys SDK.
- Existing Application

- Contact SAP to join the pilot.
- Sign the pilot agreement.
- Provide SAP with the following:
- The External Contact Field ID to use for identifying contacts. Provide the same value you used in
setContact(). - The Mobile Engage app or Web Push domain you wish to migrate.

- SAP creates your application with your existing application code and the provided External Contact Field ID.
- Create and assign channel configurations with your credentials under Management > Apps and Channel Configurations.
- To integrate the SAP Engagement Cloud SDK, continue with Installing Dependencies.

- SAP enables the Apps and Channel Configurations dashboard on your account.
- Create a new application under Management > Apps and Channel Configurations.
- Select an External Contact Field ID to use for identifying contacts.
- Create and assign channel configurations with your credentials under Management > Apps and Channel Configurations.
- To integrate the SAP Engagement Cloud SDK, continue with Installing Dependencies.
