Known Limitations

The SAP Engagement Cloud SDK is under active development and does not yet include all features available in the SAP Emarsys SDKs.

Features Not Yet Supported from the SAP Emarsys SDK​

  • Geofencing (enable/disable, events, registered geofences)
  • Web Extend events (cart, purchase, item view, category view, search term, tag)
  • Product recommendations, variants and filters

How to Handle Known Limitations​

Inbox and MessageInbox: Use Embedded Messaging instead. See Embedded Messaging.

For other known limitations, wrap calls in your own abstraction layer. This makes it easier to adopt them when support is added to the SAP Engagement Cloud SDK.
